Our Christmas Whirlwind

So Christmas is over and the real world is knocking on my door. I am fighting it off as long as I can since we still have New Year's to celebrate.
Christmas was great. We had our family party on Christmas Eve which was fun. Almost the whole family on my mom's side made it to the party. Of course it went late but we had fun. We opened Christmas Eve presents. Of course they were p.j.'s but it is a fun tradition none the less.
Christmas day was just fun, nothing to do and nowhere to go. We started with our Santa gifts at about 9. After those fun games were over we unwrapped the gifts under the tree. Everyone got lots of stuff. It was great.
My sister, Meg, was here from California and that was great. We did lots of fun things as a family. Including last minute shopping, seeing Santa at the mall, playing Disney charades, laughing a lot and just being our normal, weird selves.
All in all it was a great week. I couldn't ask for a better family.

My cousin Sam came home from his mission yesterday. It was so good to see him!! He served in Mexico and loved it.
Thanksgiving with our family was great! Getting together with my family is always an adventure. On black friday I attempted to go to Walmart for a specific toy and I FAILED miserably!! It was crazy busy and raining to add insult to injury. Anyway, I have successfully finished my Christmas shopping earlier than ever before! My presents are all wrapped too (mostly because that is my favorite part!) I also got to set up my Christmas Village houses, which is always a great fun.
I love this season, and now I can sit back and enjoy it. I hope everyone else can too.
REMEMBER THE REASON FOR THIS SEASON!!!
